From January 2024 all samples for Homologous Recombination Deficiency (HRD) testing will need to be sent to us at East GLH.
New arrangements
- In December 2023 all samples currently referred to North Thames GLH need to be routed to North West GLH in Manchester. There is no change to sample requirements.
- From the 2 January 2024 all samples for HRD testing will need to be routed to the East GLH (Cambridge Genomics Laboratory) for send out to Myriad. The sample requirements for HRD remain unchanged. Blocks cannot be accepted.
- From April 2024, testing will be provided directly by East GLH and any changes in the referral process or sample requirements will be communicated ahead of this date.
From 1st April 2024, HRD testing provision will be funded directly by NHS England and the testing will be provided in full by the NHS GLH network.
