Who is this CoP for?

About this Community of Practice

This CoP builds on the existing local expertise of Abhjit and colleagues who have provided genetics input to the paediatric endocrinology and DSD clinics at Nottingham University Hospitals for the past decade.

The aims of this CoP are to:

  • Share clinical diagnostic skills across the region. building on the NUH team's extensive experience of large cohorts of patients with rare imprinting syndromes
  • Support an adrenal insufficiency genomic review in the East by the paediatric endocrinology team
  • Invite allied specialities (general paediatrics, neonatology and paediatric urology) teams to participate in the CoP and share their expertise
  • Utilise existing East region Endocrine Network and other regional networks to promote good practice identified through this CoP
