Who is this CoP for?

  • Regional clinicians – Consultants Registrars, Clinical fellows
  • Regional scientists – molecular and cytogenetic
  • Clinical genetics
About this Community of Practice

The needs that will be addressed by our community of practice include:

  • Providing systematic teaching about the full range of haemato-oncological diagnoses including information relevant to genomic / molecular testing for each disease subtype (indications, limitations, test interpretation, future directions)
  • How and when to request whole genome sequencing
  • How to discuss genomic test results with patients

Meeting schedule

Meetings take place every TWO weeks on Wednesdays from 1pm - 1.30pm.

  • 5 February: T cell lymphomas 2 - Dr Matt Ahearne, Honorary Senior Lecturer and Consultant Haematologist, University of Leicester
  • 19 February - Break for half-term
  • 5 March: B cell lymphomas (high grade) – Dr Dan Hodson, Honorary Haematology Consultant, Cambridge University NHS Hospitals Trust
