About this Community of Practice

This Community of Practice (CoP) is focused on gynecological cancers, and aims to address the equity of access challenges faced by patients in smaller hospitals.

The CoP will bring together clinicians, nurses and lab staff to streamline whole genome sequencing (WGS) pathways, overcome common obstacles, and share best practices.

It will focus on practical issues such as:

  • efficient patient consenting
  • result interpretation
  • integration into treatment planning.

Ultimately our aim is to enhance genomic literacy among clinicians and improve patient care across the East Midlands and East of England.

Meeting schedule

Information on the recurrent day of the month and time of this CoP will be added shortly.

  • Details of the first meeting will be added here shortly.
