We work closely with a range of organisations spanning the NHS, academia and industry both in our region and through NHS networks including the national Genomic Medicine Service, and cancer alliances.
Cancer Alliances
Cancer Alliances bring together clinical and managerial leaders from different hospital trusts and other health and social care organisations, to transform diagnosis, treatment and care for cancer patients in their local area. These partnerships enable care to be more effectively planned across local cancer pathways. We work in alignment and co-ordination with our local Cancer Alliances and Networks via a networked approach with genomic tumour advisory boards (GTABs) supporting clinical actions.
The alliances in our catchment area are the East Midlands Cancer Alliance (opens in a new tab), and the East of England Cancer Alliances (opens in a new tab) (North and South).
