We are pleased to announce that our Lead Midwife and Chair of our Patient and Public Voice (PPV) Panel will be co-delivering sessions at the upcoming Festival of Genomics and Biodata, which is being held from 24-25 January at the Excel, London.
Jo Hargrave will join the Midwives in Genetics and Genomics Network (MiGGs.Net) to deliver a pregnancy to newborn clinical case scenario about cystic fibrosis and the role of genomics from an MDT perspective. This dynamic session will explore:
- Cystic fibrosis screening & diagnostic options in pregnancy care
- The multidisciplinary perspective (maternity, clinical genetics, genomics laboratory and pharmacy services)
- New treatments and future therapies and a parents perspective
We invite all clinical colleagues to attend this workshop (nurses, midwives, pharmacists, genetic counsellors and more).
We are also pleased to announce that our Public and Patient Voice (PPV) Panel Chair, Chris Hind, will be speaking at the same event as part of a Power with the Patients in the NHS Genomic Medicine Service Alliances session.
Tickets for the conference are FREE and the entire event is CPD accredited, with two days of clinical talks.
